This recipe orginally came from the Oregon Fruit Products Company and was featured on the Food Channel. It's tremendous over ice cream.
If you don't have fresh cherries, you can use frozen cherries.

Ingredients

2 lb
sweet cherries..pitted
1 c
brandy
1 c
sugar
4 tsp
cornstarch
1/2 tsp
alomond extract
1 c
sweet orange marmalad

Directions Step-By-Step

In a saucepan, combine first 4 ingredients.

Over medium heat, cook, stirring constantly until mixture thickens.

Stir in almond extract and marmalade.

If not using immediately, cover and refrigerate.
