Low Fat Honey Mustard Dressing

I've been making this dressing from a Taste of Home recipe since 2003. I know the date because it came from the 2003 Quick Cooking Annual Recipes. A couple years ago, I tweeked it to make it lower in fat. Well tonight, I tweeked it again and just can't wait to share it with you! This has half the oil of the regular recipe and so is a bit thinner. I like this because I personally don't care for a thick salad dressing. And of course you don't need as much dressing to get the same full flavor! I hope you enjoy this as much as I do!

Ingredients

1/3 c
honey
1/4 c
dijon mustard
1/4 c
white balsamic vinegar
1/2 c
granny smith applesauce
2 Tbsp
lemon juice
1 clove
garlic, minced
1/2 c
olive oil, light

Directions Step-By-Step

add the first 6 ingredients to a blender and blend until well mixed.

Add the oil in a steady stream until smooth and creamy.

Store in the refrigerator.
