I ate an exceptionally good cole slaw at our family reunion in June.

The recipe for the dressing is so simple.... and good! It's actually called Memphis Style Cole Slaw Dressing, but since it's so simple to make, I thought those who dont make cole slaw dressings may want to give this a try.

Ingredients

20 - 24 ounce bag of cole slaw
1/2 c
mayonnaise (your favorite choice will work fine)
1/2 c
sugar or sugar substitute such as splenda
1/3 c
white vinegar to 1/2 cup white vinegar
2 tsp
celery seeds
1
small onion, diced (i prefer white onion)

Directions Step-By-Step

1
Mix last 5 ingredients and fold over cole slaw, mixing well. Chill.
2
Enjoy!

Glad you liked it, Kim. I am simply not a fan of horseradish. My hubby doesn't care for it either. Again, I am happy to hear you gave this recipe a try and that you were delighted.

Sometimes, I really appreciate simple cole slaw dressing though... Mayo, sugar and the addition of diced up green onions... so good with cabbage. to each, his own, right?
