Easy Cole Slaw Dressing
By Kay Skipper Kay112
I ate an exceptionally good cole slaw at our family reunion in June.
The recipe for the dressing is so simple.... and good! It's actually called Memphis Style Cole Slaw Dressing, but since it's so simple to make, I thought those who dont make cole slaw dressings may want to give this a try.

Hi Kay, I have recently been starting to use sugar and mayo in a lot of my salads, what a difference it makes. Yesterday I put fresh lime juice in the mayo, wow what a nice and fresh taste. I am learning so many new ways of doing things. OMG I love it. I'm going to post my coleslaw recipe too, maybe you will like it too. :))

Oh, wow, Joanne! The idea of lime juice sounds so refreshing! I use lemon juice sometimes with soy sauce instead of vinegar when cooking meats (to marinate) but this idea of yours sounds most interesting.
I will watch for your cole slaw dressing. I love the idea of trying new recipes. :))

Haha, Shay! You are too funny!
Btw, I just love my cole slaw grated. I know this takes extra time, but when you have time, try grating a head of cabbage. Also, finely chop about 4 green onions and 1 medium carrot. After placing your cole slaw dressing on the minced vegetables, allow it to stand at room temp for 45 minutes to an hour before refrigerating it, ok?
The room temp will give your vegetables and cole slaw dressing time to really blend together.
Btw, often, I just enjoy some mayo and sugar mixed together as my cole slaw dressing.
I use an approximate ratio of 3 to 1 ratio
1 cup mayo to 1/3 cup sugar. If you want more sugar, add it, ok?
