My son was very particular about his Honey Mustard Sauce. This was the winning combination, after dozens of trials.

Ingredients

1 c
hellman's mayonaisse
1 c
nance sharp & creamy mustard
1 Tbsp
a-1 hearty spicy steak sauce
1/2 c
honey
2 Tbsp
butter
1 Tbsp
fresh lemon juice

Directions Step-By-Step

Over very low heat, mix Nance Sharp & Creamy Mustard and butter, until butter is melted and thoroughly incorporated into the mustard. (Mustard will separate from butter if heat is too high.)

Empty mixture into a small mixing bowl. Add cold fresh lemon juice and allow to cool slightly.

Add A-1 Sauce, mayonaisse and honey. Whip with a whisk or fork until all ingredients are incorporated.

Refrigerate in tightly closed container. (Consider storing in plastic soda bottles with tight tops.)

Hints:
Serve with chicken cutlets.
Spread on hot grilled ham & swiss cheese sandwiches.
Add to egg salad mixture.
Dip for fresh apple slices.
My favorite: Dip for pretzel rods.
