Chardonnay, Mustard & Honey Salad Dressing

It's actually, "Chardonnay, Whole Grain Mustard & Honey Salad Dressing with Poppy Seeds", but I guess the title was too long! But whip this up, and you won't have to wait long for an incredibly delicious, homemade salad dressing, that tastes like a fine dining restaurant! EASY and uses simple ingredients! From my house to yours/ !

1/3 c
coarse chopped onion
2 Tbsp
1/2 Tbsp
dark brown sugar
2 Tbsp
orange blossom honey (please use real honey)
2 Tbsp
plus 1 teaspoon whole grain dijon mustard, (i used maille's old style)
1 Tbsp
apple cider vinegar
1/2 Tbsp
1/8 tsp
dried marjoram
1/8 tsp
coarse ground black pepper
2 Tbsp
extra virgin olive oil
2 tsp
poppy seeds


1Add ingredients into a blender except oil and poppy seeds. Place on lid and blend until smooth.
2Remove center of lid, add the poppy seeds, and with blender on, slowly stream in oil.
3Place into airtight container or glass jar and chill.
4Store refrigerated. (Can sit out a little while before serving for best consistency and flavor).
