Cajun Seasoning Mix
I love hot and spicy food but NOT when flavor is sacrificed for heat. This recipe is adjustable for heat so flavor is never lost!!
As always adjust to your taste.

- 5 Tbsp
- 1 1/2-3 Tbsp
- salt, to taste
- 2 Tbsp
- each onion powder, garlic powder, dried oregano and dried basil
- 1 Tbsp
- dried thyme
- up to 1 Tbsp
- each black pepper and cayenne pepper*
1Place all ingredients in an oversized air tight container. I use old clean jelly and pickle jars.
Vigorously shake until well mixed.
Use a tablespoon or two in recipes.
2*I use about a teaspoon of both black and cayenne pepper in my "Not Too Hot" version.
