My mom used to make this when I was growing up and it was one of the first things I learned to cook on my own. It's a family favorite around here and we serve it as a meal or as an appetizer!

Ingredients

1 lb
ground chuck, cooked
1 lb
sausage (optional chorizo)
1 can(s)
cream of mushroom soup
8 oz
picante sauce
1 Tbsp
butter
1 large
white onion
1 pkg
velveeta cheese cubed
1/4 c
milk

Step-By-Step

1Brown ground chuck and sausage.

2mix ingredients in pot adding cheese slowly, and simmer stir frequently. use milk to thin. Cook over medium heat until cheese is melted.

3Serve over chips/burritos or anything you want!
