2 large
ice cubes of buttermilk

Directions Step-By-Step

1
Use a medium size bowl
2
Pour into bowl-1 cup of half and half. $1.18 at walmart for a pint size.
3
Before hand you will need to purchase a quart of buttermilk and fill up one ice tray with buttermilk to freeze into cubes. Then pop out and put into a good freezer baggie.
4
Now to your one cup of half and half add 2 ice cubes just as they are.Let this bowl sit out on the counter top for two days, can swish around bowl. The buttermilk acid keeps spoilage away so don,t worry!

You do have to keep a clean dish towel covering this. After two days-guess what you have made?Beautiful sour cream. And you do not have to order cultures to make it.I have studied this out for you and done the work and will post a picture. That has been stirred up.Wish I would not have stirred up until after picture but alas I did.
