- 1 tablespoon sea salt
- 1 tablespoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1 tablespoon freshly ground white pepper
- 1 tablespoon dried oregano
- 1 tablespoon dried thyme
- 1 tablespoon dried basil
- 1 tablespoon fine raw sugar
- 2 tablespoons cayenne pepper, or to taste
- 2 tablespoons ground smoked paprika
- 2 tablespoons chili powder, or dried chilies
- 2 tablespoons garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons onion powder

Step 1Combine all ingredients with a mortar and pestle or a food processor. Store in an airtight jar. The little spice jars with rubber gasket seals will keep your homemade spice blends fresh longer than jars with screw-top lids.
