Ingredients
- 8 slices bacon, divided
- 1 - 15 oz cans chickpeas (garbanzo beans)
- 1/3 cup Tahini
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 tablespoons bacon drippings
- 1/4 cup water
- GARNISH:
- 2 scallions, chopped (both greens & whites)
- salt & pepper, to taste
How To Make garlicy bacon hummus

Step 1Cook bacon in skillet over medium heat until crispy; drain on paper towels. Reserve 3 tbsp bacon drippings. Chop all into bits & reserve 3 chopped slices for garnish.

Step 2In food processor, pulse chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, garlic & bacon drippings until smooth.

Step 3Add 5 slices bacon, water,1/2 scallions, salt & pepper; pulse until combined.

Step 4Garnish with remaining bacon & scallions.
