I love quick and easy recipes and I found this recipes years ago on Allrecipes.com. It can be used as a spread for canape sandwiches or on your favorite crackers.

Ingredients For creamy chicken spread/dip

  • 1-13 oz can
    white meat chicken
  • 1 pkg
    unflavored gelatin
  • 3 Tbsp
    water
  • 3/4 c
    mayonnaise
  • 1 - 8 oz
    cream cheese
  • 1
    chopped onion
  • 1 c
    celery, minced
  • 1
    10.5 oz can cream of chicken soup

How To Make creamy chicken spread/dip

    In a small pot, heat chicken soup.

    In a small bowl, combine gelatin and water and stir it into the heated soup. Blend mayonnaise, cream cheese, onion, and celery into the soup mixture. Add chicken and continue mixing. Refrigerate overnight. **Depending upon my mood, I sometimes wait and add the onion and celery a couple of hours before serving to keep them more crisp. I would suggest trying it both ways and see which you prefer.
