Ingredients For cheesy broccoli bites w/ honey mustard sauce
- BROCCOLI BITES:

3 x lgeggs
-
8 ozcolby cheese
-
8 ozmonterey jack cheese
-
1 - 16 oz boxbroccoli, frozen, thawed, drained & dried, chopped
-
6 slicebacon, cooked crisp & crumbled
-
3 Tbsponion flakes, dehydrated
-
1/8 call purpose flour
-
panko bread crumbs
- HONEY MUSTARD DIPPING SAUCE:

1 csour cream
-
1/3 cmayonnaise
-
1/3 cdijon mustard
-
1/3 choney
-
4 tsplemon juice
How To Make cheesy broccoli bites w/ honey mustard sauce

1Drain thawed broccoli by pressing through a strainer. Dry well with paper towels.

2In a mixing bowl, beat eggs with a whisk until well combined.

3In a large plastic container, place all ingredients except bread crumbs. Add beaten eggs. Stir together with a spatula until thoroughly combined.

4Refrigerate for 1 hour. NOTE: VERY IMPORTANT...This will bind the mixture together.

5Meanwhile, make dipping sauce. In a medium bowl, combine sour cream, mayonnaise, & Dijon mustard. With a whisk, blend mixture thoroughly.

6Slowly pour in honey & lemon juice & continue mixing until smooth. Cover & refrigerate until ready to use.

7Heat about 4 cups of oil in a deep fryer or deep pan at 350 degrees F.

8Pour bread crumbs into a shallow pan.

9Remove mixture from fridge & form portions into 1" balls & coat well with bread crumbs.

10Place Broccoli Bites into fry basket or pan. Make sure they do not stick together. Fry 1 minute, then remove & place on paper towel lined plate to absorb excess oil.

11Serve hot with Honey Mustard Dipping sauce.
