This is an excellent dip to bring to parties or gatherings. It's our go-to recipe for such events, and we often have a number of requests for the recipe. It's simple, but delicious! I often have to fight the urge to eat it plain... (and don't always succeed)

I had a recipe like this many years ago and couldn't put my fingers on it, so I checked out Just a Pinch. It never seems to let me down. :)

I made this for our dominoes group tonight without the peanuts (just because that's how I used to make it) and it was very well received. With the cream cheese, it doesn't feel as sugary as some, but still has a rich caramel flavor. I also love that it doesn't need to be made way ahead. I plan to try it sometime with the crushed peanuts; bet it would also be delicious- like a nutty caramel apple! Thanks so much for sharing the recipe. I actually made extra and part of it in the freezer. I've frozen cream cheese many times before, so I'm betting it will be a great one to pull out for a carry-in at the last minute. Loved it! Thanks again!
