How To Make 7 or more layer taco dip

  • 1
In a medium bowl, blend some of the taco seasoning mix and refried beans. Spread the mixture onto a LARGE serving platter.
  • 2
Mix the sour cream and cream cheese and the rest of the taco seasoning mix in a medium bowl. Spread over the refried beans.
  • 3
Top the layers with salsa. Place a layer of tomato, green bell pepper, green onions and lettuce over the salsa, and top with Mexican blend cheese. Garnish with black olives.

IF you think there might be left overs, don't add the lettuce until last, sprinkle on top so the lettuce does not get wilted. Or I have also left the lettuce off completely and it was just as good!!

Many other ingredients may be added or emitted to this dip. I also added ground beef to the refried bean layer to add a little stability. You can also add guamamole, or a can of Rotel tomatoes, fresh salsa, you can use cheddar cheese on top instead of or with the Mexican blend cheese. If you love spicy food you can add canned or jarred jalapenos on top depending on your taste and drizzle a little bit of Frank's Red Hot Sauce on top for color and spice. Use your imagination and add any of your favorites, you can't mess this one up!!! ENJOY!!!!
