I have a son that is 6'9 and a husband that is 6'8 they are what I call bottomless pits all they do is eat so one nite I did not feel like cooking an as usual they were begging for food so I look in the pantry saw some tuna did not feel like boiling eggs and all that stuff so I decided to do my own thing an I could not believe the rave and rants that they gave me over this salad it is very easy and I bet you will have every thing in your pantry and frig hope you like it and put your own twist on it, let me know how it turns out. Ingredients For tuna quickie

  • 1c tuna dr can
    1 can green beans drained
  • chopped tomatoe
  • black olives
  • onion sliced thin
  • romaine lettuce leaves or iceberg shredded
  • 1c cheddar cheese
  • croutons optional

How To Make tuna quickie

  • 1
    Take one can tuna in water drain and rinse set aside use romaine or iceberg lettuce shredded open one can of green beans, onion cut thin black olives sliced, tomatoes chopped, take drained tuna place about 1/4c on lettuce sprinkle drained green beans around tuna on lettuce add rest of veggies croutons if you like now here is the fun part take any type of salad dressing you have in the frig and let the people decide for themselves, maybe salt & pepper to taste enjoy, my boys enjoyed it and it was quick and easy for a hot night.
