Ingredients For crunchy tuna waldorf salad

1 can9 1/4 oz. can tuna, packed in water (drained and flaked)

1 lgapple, cored and chopped

1/3 ccelery, chopped

1/3 cwalnuts, chopped
-
1/3 craisins, currants or chopped pitted dates
-
1/2 cplain nonfat yogurt (or lowfat)
-
1/4 cmayonnaise
-
large lettuce leaves
-
1/2 cshredded cheddar or monterey jack cheese (2 ounces)
How To Make crunchy tuna waldorf salad

1In a medium bowl, combine tuna, apple, celery, walnuts and raisins; set aside.

2In a small bowl combine yogurt and mayonnaise. Add to tuna-fruit mixture; toss gently. Cover, chill before serving.

3To serve, line 4 salad plates with lettuce leaves. Sprinkle cheese over lettuce. Spoon tuna-fruit mixture on top of cheese.
