mom's tomato salad

Everyone who has tries this loves this. My grandmother (who came from Italy), mother and me has made this our whole lives. In the winter use the recipe and a 15 ounce can of tomato sauce and use for bread stick dipping sauce.

    tomatoes
  • 1 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 2 tsp
    dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 2 Tbsp
    extra virgin olive oil

How To Make mom's tomato salad

    Thinly wedge tomatoes into a bowl

    Add salt and let the juices flow

    Add rest of ingredients and let set for 1 hour to blend flavors.

    Serve with bread or bread sticks.
