This recipe is easy to make. Because it's sweet, it's the perfect side dish for teriyaki marinated salmon on the grill or a smoked pull pork dish. The crunchiness of this dish is what makes it taste so good!

Ingredients

1
head of napa cabbage
5
scallions
2 pkg
ramen noodles soup (throw out seasoning packet)
1/2 c
sesame seeds
1 stick
butter, unsalted
2 pkg
small packages of slivered almonds
1 c
olive oil
1/2 c
white vinegar
2 tsp
soy sauce
1 c
sugar

Step-By-Step

1Smash the Ramen noodles. Brown ramen noodles, sesame seeds, and almonds in the melted butter until light tan in color.

2Chop the cabbage and scallions fine.

3Store the noodle combo and the cabbage mixture separately.

4Mix dressing: olive oil, white vinegar, soy sauce and sugar together until sugar dissolves. Store dressing separately.

520 minutes before serving, mix cabbage, onion, and nut mixture with dressing. Start with half of the dressing and add more, if necessary.
