Quick Fix Salad

I made this quick fix salad to go with my Hungry Man's Turkey Meat Ball Dinner, Garlic Bread & Quick Fix Spaghetti Sauce.

It really is so simple, adding the ingredients you have on hand, then tossing them together.

I prefer to make each salad separately, that way each person can add the ingredients they want to theirs.

Then you add your favorite salad dressing and you have a quick fix salad in a flash. I didn't even take pictures of this as I went along but you can see the end results, it was a great side salad.

No-Cook or Other

Ingredients

1 bag(s)
salad greens, mine was 12 ounces
1 large
cucumber, quartered & sliced
1 large
tomatoe, diced
2-4 large
eggs, boiled and sliced or quartered
1/2 c
shredded cheese of choice (i used cheddar)
1/2 c
real bacon bits
3/4 c
seasoned salad croutons
salad dressing of choice ( my husband likes ranch, i prefer blue cheese or 1000 island

Step-By-Step

1Making a salad doesn't get much more simple than this. Add the mixed salad greens to a large bowl.
2Wash the tomato and cucumber and dice and add to bowl.
3Boil the eggs, cool and peel till needed. There is no right or wrong way to assemble this salad, add what ever you like.
4Divide equal portions into each plate.
5Top with shredded cheese.
6Salad Croutons, boiled eggs, and Bacon bits, then salad dressing. I added red onions to mine. This quick fix is great for an easy everyday salad.
7Now if you want to make a more elaborate salad Try this one. I used Genoa Salami in this one. But you can use any thin sliced Lunch meat you like. I am sure you understand why I call the salad above a quick fix salad, compared to these two. smile
8You may even want to try one using chicken Roll, they are both impressive and so good. I love salad. As long as the meat is round and sliced thin you can create this salad. I give the steps in pictures to make it easier.
9The elaborate salad is called VALENTINE'S SWEETHEART SALAD BY LADY ROSE, the link for the recipe is VALENTINE-SWEETHEART SALAD BY LADY ROSE
