Ingredients For velvet salad

  • 1 pkg
    lemon jello
  • 1 c
    water
  • 3 oz
    cream cheese
  • 8 oz
    miniature marshmallows
  • 1
    small can crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 c
    whipping cream, whipped or 2 cups cool whip or dream whip
  • 2 pkg
    cherry or strawberry jello
  • 2 c
    water

How To Make velvet salad

  • 1
    Combine first four ingredients in saucepan and dissolve over low heat. Let cool to room temp. Fold in pineapple and whipped cream. Pour into 9 x 13 pan and refrigerate until firm. Prepare red jello and 2 cups water per package directions. Refrigerate until cool and jello starts to get thick. Pour over first layer and refrigerate at least 3 hours or overnight.
