Found recipe at Allrecipes & tweaked a bit. This salad/dessert is good any time of day! May try reduced fat products, eventually. Time for chilling, not included.

Ingredients For green grape salad by sharon

  • 4 c
    seedless green grapes
  • 1 pkg
    (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 pkg
    (8 oz) sour cream
  • 1/3 to 1/2 c
    granulated sugar or splenda
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 2-3 Tbsp
    brown sugar or splenda brown sugar
  • 4 oz
    chopped pecans or walnuts

    Wash and dry grapes.

    In a large bowl, mix together the cream cheese, sour cream, the 1/3 to 1/2 granulated sugar or Splenda, and vanilla extract. Blend well.

    Add grapes, to wet mixture, and mix, until evenly incorporated.

    Sprinkle the 2 to 3 Tbs. brown sugar or Splenda brown sugar and nuts, over the top. Mix these ingredients in with the rest of the salad, and refrigerate, until serving. Makes 8 servings.
