The actual ingredients I use in this varies...depending on the season and what looks good in the market. In addition to the 'suggested,' ingredients, feel free to add kiwi, seasonal berries or whatever strikes your fancy.

Ingredients

1 cup seedless grapes
1 cup canned pineapple chunks, drained
1 cup strawberries, halved
1 cup honeydew and/or cantaloupe, cut into medium chunks
2 blood oranges, peeled and sectioned
mint leaves for garnish (optional)

SPICE DRESSING

4 tsp. candied ginger chopped
1 tsp. ground cardamom
1 tsp. ground allspice
½ cup apricot or peach brandy
½ cup freshly squeezed blood orange juice

Directions Step-By-Step

Mix ingredients for dressing in bowl; cover with plastic wrap and set in fridge for two hours for flavors to meld.

Toss fruit in large bowl; pour spiced dressing over fruit.
