Momma's German Potato Salad

This dish was handed down by my Great Grand-Mother. I still make it for family and friends. At pot Lucks I alwasys get asked for the recipe. My family insist I make it for all holiday dinners but much to their chagrin I draw the line at Thanks-Giving. Maybe as a surprise this year I will sneak it in. Hope you enjoy this as much as we do. It will leave your palate asking for more.

6 large
6 lg or 12 small red skin potatoes peeled
1 medium
red onion chopped
3 stick
3 stalks celery chopped
1 capful white vinegar
3/4 c
¾c mayonnaise (add more if too dry)
1 tsp
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp
1 tsp salt (add more to taste)
1/2 tsp
½ tsp pepper (add more to taste)
1 lb
1 lb bacon (fried crisp/cut up)

Directions Step-By-Step

1) Cut potatoes into bite size pieces, boil until tender but not mushy.

2) Mix all ingredients. Taste test to adjust spices. Put into nice serving dish and sprinkle with paprika.
