Got this out of one of my cookbooks...I thought at first just like your thinking when you read the ingredients. But trust me, this is the best macaroni salad I've ever had and ever will make.

Ingredients

1 lb
lg. elbow macaroni, cooked, drained & rinsed
1
bell pepper, chopped
1
onion, chopped
4 c
shredded carrots
1 can(s)
eagle brand milk
1 c
white vinegar
1 c
sugar
2 c
mayonnaise
1 tsp
salt
1/4 tsp
black pepper

Step-By-Step

1Cook macaroni, then cool and drain.
2Combine milk, vinegar,suagr, mayonnaise,salt and pepper. Add vegetables and mix well.
3Let set overnight. This will be thin but liquid will absorb overnight.
