Italian Style Pasta Salad

this is good as a salad or main dish."Dont be intimidated by foreign cookery. Tomatoes and oregano make it Italian: wine and tarragon make it French. Sour cream makes it Russian; lemon and cinnamon make it Greek. Soy sauce makes it Chinese; garlic makes it good.Now you are an International Cook." this is from Alice May Brock's Alice's Restaurant Cookbook. Its the song that was made famous by Arlo Guthrie, back in the sixties (i think)

multi-colored pasta (fusilli)
1 small
bell pepper, chopped
1 small
red onion, chopped
celery stalks, chopped
1/3 lb
hard salami, chopped
1/3 lb
pepperoni, chopped
1/3 lb
shredded parmesan cheese
1 small
can pitted, chopped black olives
1 bottle
16 oz. your favorite italian salad dressing

Directions Step-By-Step

Cook pasta until al dente, drain in colander then rinse with cold water until cooled completely.Mix pasta with all the other ingredients then add the italian dressing to taste (I use the whole bottle)cover and let stand in refrigerator 3-4 hours before serving for the flavors to mingle and marinate in the dressing. will last several days in the refrigerator.
