My family loves this recipe even the great grandkids so that says something.It's a make the day before recipe which is always good.

Ingredients For vegetable salad marinade

  • 15 oz
    french style green beans,drained
  • 15 oz
    small petite peas,drained
  • 11 oz
    white shoepeg corn,drained
  • 4 oz
    pimientos,drained
  • 1 c
    chopped celery
  • 1 md
    onion finely chopped
  • 1
    green bell peppers,chopped
  • 3/4 c
    sugar
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 c
    white wine vinegar
  • 1/2 c
    oil

How To Make vegetable salad marinade

    Mix the first 7 ingredients together

    Then in a saucepan cook the sugar,salt,vinegar,bringing to a boil.Remove from heat and add the oil.

    Pour over the veggies and keep in the refrigerator overnight.I give it a stir a couple of times during the day before serving.ENJOY
