Ingredients

large or two small cans of del monte sauerkraut
3/4 c
water
1/4 c
vinegar
1 c
chopped celery
1 1/2 c
sugar
1 c
chopped onion
1 c
green pepper or pimento

Drain Kraut well. Bring water, vinegar and sugar to a boil for 3-4 minutes; cool

combine kraut, onions, celery & peppers or pimentos. Pour cold liquid over mixture & let stand for a few hours to ripen. Place in large glass jar. It will keep in the refrigerator for weeks
