The first time i had this salad i could not get enough of it. It makes a large batch and is great for party's and potlucks.

Ingredients For ramen noodle salad

    head of green cabbage, thinly sliced
  • 8
    green onions, thinly sliced
  • 8 oz
    almonds, slivered
  • 1/2 c
    butter, melted
  • 3 pkg
    ramen oriental noodles any flavor
  • 1 c
    vegatable oil
  • 1/2 c
    white vinegar
  • 1-2 Tbsp
    soy sauce
  • 3
    ramen noodle flavor packets

How To Make ramen noodle salad

    Break noodles into bite size pieces and mix with almonds. Place on cookie sheet and pour butter over them. Bake 15 minutes in a 350° oven. Allow to cool.

    Slice cabbage and onions into thin strips.

    Mix onions, cabbage, noodles and almonds together in a large bowl.

    Mix dressing ingredients together with a whisk and pour over cabbage mixture. Serve immediately.

    Can be refrigerated up to 1 hour without needles mixed in.
