Once a year, our local radio station sponsors a Taste of Homes Cooking School. And, every year, my husband and I make a date night of it. This year, she made this wonderful looking edible bowl. They're not very big, but if you want an elegant element added to your dinner, this is an easy, fast way. The trick is to let it set up enough to pull from the pan whole, but not so long as to set before forming. I have modified the recipe based on my experience.

Heat a small non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Sprinkle enough cheese to make a fine layer on the bottom of the pan. Sprinkle a light covering of walnuts. Allow to melt. When cheese bubbles lightly and edges are brown, remove from heat. Allow to sit for 45 seconds. Lightly loosen from pan with a flat spatula, then quickly flip over a glass with a 2" base. Lightly squinch to create a bowl shape. Allow to sit for a few minutes before serving.
