Kale & Pear Salad
A nice light & refreshing salad that is healthy for you & your loved ones. Impress your guests with this flavour burst.
- 1 bunch
- fresh kale, chopped or torn into bite-sized pieces
- 1 3/4 Tbsp
- olive oil, extra virgin
- 1 tsp
- chives, chopped
- 1/3 c
- walnuts or pecans, coarsely chopped
- 1/4 c
- feta cheese
- salt and pepper
- 4 slice
1Squeeze juice of 1/2 lemon into a medium sized bowl.
2Add olive oil, cinnamon, salt & pepper if desired. Whisk together.
3Add kale & toss gently.
4Top with pear, chives, walnuts or pecans & feta cheese. Toss gently just before serving.
5Decorate with slices of lemon.
