English Pea Salad

Ann's Story

This is one that my Mama regularly served with Sunday roast beef, rice and gravy. You can add or delete anything you like and it's still a colorful, delicious salad!


1 15 oz. can(s)
green peas, drained
2 or 3
hard boiled eggs
1 sm. jar(s)
pimiento, diced
1/2 c
cheddar cheese (i use grated)
1 tsp
chives, dried
1/3 c
miracle whip salad dressing
salt & pepper to taste

Directions Step-By-Step

Boil eggs and cool; peel, slice and set aside.
Drain peas* and combine in bowl with the rest of the ingredients. Add eggs and stir well.
Chill and serve.
*Frozen peas, cooked, drained and chilled, may be substituted for canned.
