Creamy Cucumber Salad
My Mom was big on vinegar salads. We grow cucumbers in our garden every year. So I love being able to make this recipe all summer long. Quick & Easy to take to any function.
1In a glass bowl (do not use a metal bowl) mix together everything except the cucumbers and red onions. Make sure the sugar gets thoroughly dissolved.
2Peel and slice cucumbers (about 1/4 slices) and slice the red onions in long thin slices. Add to the bowl and cover for 2 to 24 hours.
3Before serving. Drain the liquid and add the sour cream, then top/garnish with sliced green onions (optional).
