Broccoli salad

This is an attractive and tasty alternative to lettuce and slaw. It's tangy nutty taste combines perfectly with almost any entree.

Ingredients

2 lb
broccoli cut into small pieces
1 c
sunflower kernels
1 c
peanuts
1 c
raisins
1/4 c
finely chopped sweet onion
8-10 slice
bacon cooked and crumbled

DRESSING

1 c
mayonaise
1/2 c
sugar
2 Tbsp
apple cider vinegar
1/2 tsp
dry mustard

Directions Step-By-Step

Combine broccoli, raisins, and onions.

In a small bowl mix mayo, sugar and vinegar. Pour over broccoli mixture and toss to coat. Refrigerate.

Just before serving sprinkle with bacon, sunflower kernels and peanuts. Toss and serve.

(Any nut can be substituted for peanuts. I like pecans also.)
