Many years ago, someone in the family collected recipes from descendants of my great grandparents, William M. and Florence E. (Snodgrass) Whaley and had them compiled into a cookbook. I am posting those recipes here so that they will not be lost. This recipe was submitted by my Great Aunt Billie June Whaley.

Ingredients For aunt june's corn bread salad

2 pkgcorn bread mix, prepared and baked as directed on pkg

1onion, chopped

1 can(small can) green chilies, drained

1tomato, chopped

3/4 ptmiracle whip salad dressing
How To Make aunt june's corn bread salad

1Crumble corn bread into bowl and add all other ingredients except chopped tomatoes.

2Mix well and refrigerate.

3Add tomato just before serving.
