Tiger Salad (Buttermilk Salad)

- can crushed pineapple, packed in juice, do not drain
- 3 Tbsp

- package orange flavored gelatin
- 2 c
- 1 small
- can mandarin oranges, drained
- 8 oz
- container frozen whipped topping, thawed
1Mix pineapple and sugar together in a medium saucepan and bring to a low boil, stirring occasionally.
2Stir in gelatin until completely dissolved. Remove from heat and cool to room temperature.
3Add buttermilk and drained mandarin oranges. Refrigerate 1 hour, or until partially set.
4Gently fold in whipped topping. Pour into a lightly oiled gelatin mold if desired. Refrigerate 8 hours or until completely set.
