This pretty Gelatin Salad is a favorite with my family and friends. When I miss a holiday meal and not have this, every one is very sad. Besides being delicious, its very pretty on the table.

Ingredients For holiday gelatin salad

  • 1 pkg
    6 oz. size of black cherry gelatin
  • 1 1/2 c
    boiling hot water
  • 1 can
    20 oz. size crushed pineapple, undrained
  • 1 can
    16 oz. size whole berry cranberry sauce
  • 1 c
    seedless red grapes sliced in half
  • 1/2 c
    fresh or frozen blueberries

How To Make holiday gelatin salad

    In a large bowl dissolve the gelatin with the hot water. Stir until dissolved. Add the can of crushed pineapple and can of whole berry cranberry sauce, stir thoroughly. Refrigerate for 30 minutes. Now add the red grapes and blueberries and stir to mix ingredients.

    Pour into a serving bowl and refrigerate until set. Or pour into a large mold. I prefer a pretty glass bowl.
