Cheese and Pinapple Salad

This is a favorite of our ladies lunch group and really quite easy...enjoy!!

pinch tips: How to Cook Scrambled Eggs


1 can(s)
crushed pinapple
1 c
1 box
lemon jello
1 c
shredded cheddar cheese
1 c
chopped nuts
1/2 pt
whipping cream

Directions Step-By-Step

Boil the 1 cup sugar and can pineapple together for 5 minutes..set aside
Dissolve the small lemon jello in 1 cup boiling water..set aside until half jelled..add pineapple ..1 cup shredded cheese and 1 cup nuts
Beat 1/2 pint cream and fold into first mixture..pour into mold and chill.......

I grew up on this salad except we used lime Jello instead. It is one of my favorite gelatin salads!!

Thanks Peggy for the info on the jello..that sounds good also...think I will try it next time with the lime.....

I hope you like it as well as the lemon :) When I found this post, it brought back alot of memories. The lady my mom got this recipe from at least 40 years ago, passed away years ago. Every time I think about this recipe, I think of her :)
