Ingredients

2 bags baby spinach
1 pt fresh strawberries, sliced
1 c slivered almonds
2 tsp butter
1/2 c vegetable oil
2 tsp sesame seeds
1/4 c cider vinegar
1 tsp minced onion seasoning
1/4 c red wine vinegar
1/2 c sugar
1 tsp poppy seeds
1/4 tsp paprika

Jessica's Notes:

My Aunt Sharon makes this salad and it is so delicious. One of my favorites!

 

Directions

Melt the butter in a skillet and saute almonds until golden. Set aside.

Add the oil, vinegars, seeds, minced onions, sugar, and paprika in a bowl and whisk to combine. Set aside.

Lay the spinach in your serving dish. Top with strawberries and browned almonds. Pour dressing over the top and toss. Enjoy!

Any idea of Fat and calories for this recipe? Sounds yummy and like Julie said about Strawberry season! Can't wait for really good fresh strawberries!

Hi Marsha- sorry I don't know information on fat and calories. You may be able to find some kind of nutritional information calculator online, though I don't know how reliable they are. Enjoy the salad!
