Ingredients For *** mom's ramen noodle salad ***

  • 1 - 3 oz. pkg
    ramen noodles
  • 1/4 c
    butter
  • 1 c
    pecans, chopped
  • 1 - 16 oz. pkg
    broccoli florets, fresh
  • 1
    romaine lettuce head, torn
  • 4
    green onions, chopped (both greens & whites)
  • DRESSING:
  • 1/2 c
    oil
  • 1/4 c
    sugar
  • 1/4 c
    red wine vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp
    soy sauce
  • salt & pepper, to taste

How To Make *** mom's ramen noodle salad ***

    Make dressing; mix well. Set aside.

    DON'T USE SEASON PACKET FROM RAMEN NOODLES. Break noodles in pieces, melt butter in skillet, add noodles & pecans. Saute until light brown. Drain on paper towels. Cool.

    Toss together noodle mixture, broccoli, lettuce, green onions; mix well. Toss with dressing; toss well.
