Layered Cobb Salad

This is such a delicious salad, great for family picnics and BBQ's. I have also added chopped hard boiled eggs to this recipe and it's a great addition. You can virtually add or subtract any veggies you like.

Ingredients

6 c
romaine lettuce, washed and sliced
1/2 lb
grape tomatos, halved
4 c
cooked chicken, shredded
2
ripe avocados, peeled and diced
1 large
red onion, peeled and sliced
1 lb
cooked medium shrimp, peeled and devained
1 c
chunky blue cheese dressing ( i like marzetti's)
6 slice
cooked bacon, crumbled

Step-By-Step

1Place sliced lettuce in the bottom of a 14 cup glass salad bowl or trifle dish. Pack down slightly
2On top of lettuce, neatly layer tomatoes, chicken, avocados, red onion and shrimp. Press down lightly to compress.
3Spread with dressing. refrigerate at least and hour. Sprinkle with bacon just before serving.
