cider vinegar
1 c
white sugar
2 1/2 c
water
1 qt
shredded cabbage
1/2 c
chopped grn or red pepper
1 tsp
salt
1/2 jar(s)
pimentos (if desired)

ribs of celery--chopped fine
1 tsp
mustard seed

BRING TO BOIL:

SUGAR, WATER, MUSTARD SEED, VINEGAR

MAKE THIS THE DAY BEFORE SERVING. COOL & REFRIGERATE OVER NIGHT

SOAK 1 QT. SHREDDED CABBAGE, GRN OR RED PEPPERS, TSP SALT IN 2 C COLD WATER FOR 2 HRS. DRAIN WELL. ADD PIMENTOS IF DESIRED, CHOPPED CELERY.

POUR COLD LIQUID OVER ALL THE NEXT DAY

KEEPS FOR SEVERAL DAYS
