I just love this recipe for Cobb salad! Don't know where I got this recipe as it is handwritten by me and the ink on the paper is getting faded.

Ingredients

head iceburg lettuce (abt 4 cups)
1 small
head curly endive ( abt 2 1/2 cups)
1/2
head romaine lettuce (abt 2 1/2 cups)
1 bunch
watercress (bottom stems removed)

tomatoes , peeled and diced

strips crisp cooked bacon, crumbled
2
whole boneless chicken breasts,boiled, diced
3
hard boiled eggs,chopped into small pieces
1
ripe avocado,peeled,diced just before serving
3/4 c
roquefort blue cheese,crumbled
2 Tbsp
finely chopped chives
dressing:
1/4 c
water
1/4 c
red wine vinegar
1 tsp
sugar
1 tsp
lemon juice
3/4 tsp
black pepper
1/2 tsp
sea salt
3/4 tsp
worcestershire sauce
1 tsp
dijon mustard
1
clove garlic
3/4 c
olive oil, extra virgin

Step-By-Step

1Cut all the lettuce and 1/2 of the watercress in a salad bowl.
2Arrange tomatoes, bacon, chicken, eggs, avocado and cheese in strips on greens.
3Sprinkle the chives over the entire salad and garnish with the remaining watercress.
4TO MAKE THE DRESSING;
5In a medium bowl, blend together all the ingredients except the oil. Add oil and mix well.
6Just before serving, drizzle salad with dressing.
