Ingredients For chef salad

8 lgeggs, hard-boiled, halved

2head of red leaf lettuce

1 lbham or grilled chicken, diced

4 slicebacon, cooked and crumbled
-
16cherry or grape tomatoes, halved

8green onions, sliced thin
-
4stalks celery, diced
-
2avocado, diced
-
8 tspsimple salad dressing*
- SIMPLE SALAD DRESSING

1 cextra virgin olive oil
-
1/4 cbalsamic vinegar
-
1garlic clove, finely minced
-
1 tspdijon mustard
-
1 tspraw honey
-
1 Tbsplemon juice
-
1 tspsea salt
-
1/2 tspfreshly ground black pepper

1 tspdried herbs of choice (basil, thyme, chives, rosemary, oregano, tarragon)
How To Make chef salad

1Make the Simple Dressing: Whisk (or put in blender) balsamic vinegar, dijon mustard, minced garlic, raw honey and lemon juice until blended. Gradually add olive oil while whisking (or blending). Mix salt, pepper and dried herbs in to taste. Store in the refrigerator.

2Hard-boil eggs, cool and remove shells.

3Meanwhile, cook bacon and crumble, grill chicken and dice (or dice ham).

4Wash and chop vegetables.

5Divide lettuce between two plates, top with vegetables, eggs, avocado and meats.

6Top with Simple Salad Dressing.
