I find it amazing with this dish, how the lettuce stays fresh and crisp underneath the topping.

Ingredients

lettuce head

green onions; chopped
1 can(s)
waterchestnuts; sliced

red bell pepper; chopped

celery stalks; chopped
1 box
peas, frozen 10 oz
1 c
mayonnaise
1 c
sour cream
1/2 c
parmesan cheese
1 tsp
salt
1/4 tsp
garlic powder
1 c
fresh fried bacon (crumbled) or bacon bits

Step-By-Step

1Layer chopped lettuce, green onions, waterchestnuts, bell pepper, peas, and celery in a glass 13x9 baking dish.
2Cream together mayonnaise and sour cream. Add parmesan cheese, salt, and garlic powder and mix thoughly. Spread this mix evenly on top of the salad layers.
3Finish topping your salad with crumbled crip cooked bacon (crumbled), or bacon bits.
