I usually make this during the holidays, but it is good anytime, especially when it is really hot outside and you have a group of people coming over and need a really good cole salad. My family has loved this for years.
DRAIN 1 cup juice from canned pears and heat to a boil. Remove and add the jello. Refrigerate until partially set. Put the pears and cream cheese in the blender and blend until creamed. Stir in the jello. Add the pecans and fold in the whipping cream. Pour into glass dish or mold and refrigerate until ready to serve.
