|2 bunch||fresh spinach leaves, washed and patted dry (you can also used 1 bag fresh spinach)|
|1 pt||strawberries, sliced|
|1 can(s)||mandarin oranges, large|
|1||red onion, sliced|
|1 tsp||dry mustard|
|1/3 c||red wine vinegar|
|1 1/2 Tbsp||red onion, minced|
|1 c||salad oil|
|1 1/2 Tbsp||poppy seeds|

My sister Joanne has been bringing this salad to every summer gathering she attends for years. It is always a big hit and has become a treasured family recipe.
Mix dressing ingredients (you may use a food processor or blender if you wish). Refrigerate at least 4 hours or overnight.
Assemble salad ingredients in a large bowl and toss.
Pour dressing on salad just before serving and toss again.
You can make dressing a day or two ahead. It will keep up to 2 weeks if refrigerated.
