This recipe has been around for years and I cannot believe that it has never been posted. This is my take on a delicious grape salad. Who knew that cream cheese and sour cream could do so much for grapes? Heaven in your mouth! Don't leave off the brown sugar topping. It lends a caramel flavor to the grapes covered w/ the slightly sweet light and luscious creamy whipped dressing. Sprinkle it on prior to serving or before refrigerating. This recipe is great for a potluck and makes a lot. Decrease the measurements to half if it is just for the family. You won't regret this!

How To Make creamy whipped grape salad

  • 1
Wash grapes and dry thoroughly. Put dry grapes in 9-by-13-inch dish or extra large bowl.
  • 2
In mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, white sugar, and vanilla. Mix well with electric mixer.
  • 3
Pour cream mixture over grapes and toss until all grapes are coated. Chill in refrigerator.
  • 4
Just before serving, sprinkle w/ brown sugar mixed w/ cinnamon and then nuts. For a enhanced flavor, I like to sprinkle on prior to refrigeration. It lends a stronger caramel flavor.
