Cousin Annie's Taffy Apple Salad

Ingredients

large apples (one red delicious and one granny smith)
20 oz
can crushed pineapple
2 1/2 c
mini marshmallows
1
egg
1 Tbsp
flour
1/2 c
sugar
1 1/2 c
cocktail peanuts (or 2 large snickers bars chopped)

8 oz. container of cool whip

Directions Step-By-Step

Drain crushed pineapple and save juice.

Place 2 1/2 minim marshmallows and crushed pineapple in a covered glass dish and refrigerate overnight.

In a small sauce pan, mix pineapple juice, egg, flour and sugar and cook on low-med heat until thick - should be the consistency of pudding. Place in glass covered dish and refrigerate overnight.

Just before serving: Chop apples and mix with ingredients of both bowls into a larger serving bowl. Add Cool Whip and cocktail peanuts (or Snickers).
