Cousin Annie's Taffy Apple Salad

- large apples (one red delicious and one granny smith)
- 20 oz
- can crushed pineapple
- 2 1/2 c
- mini marshmallows
- 1 Tbsp
- 1/2 c
- 1 1/2 c
- cocktail peanuts (or 2 large snickers bars chopped)
- 8 oz. container of cool whip
1Drain crushed pineapple and save juice.
2Place 2 1/2 minim marshmallows and crushed pineapple in a covered glass dish and refrigerate overnight.
3In a small sauce pan, mix pineapple juice, egg, flour and sugar and cook on low-med heat until thick - should be the consistency of pudding. Place in glass covered dish and refrigerate overnight.
4Just before serving: Chop apples and mix with ingredients of both bowls into a larger serving bowl. Add Cool Whip and cocktail peanuts (or Snickers).
