red delicious apples, cored, cut into bite-sized chunks
chicken, cooked, cut into bite-sized chunks
Core the apples. Cut into bite-sized chunks. You can peel them, but I like to leave the peel on. It adds a nice color to the salad.
As you cut up the apple, place chunks in large bowl of water with juice of 1/2 lemon added to the water, to prevent browning.
In another bowl, combine mayonnaise, tsp. lemon juice & sugar. Mix well.
Combine remaining ingredients with apples & mayo mixture.
