Pat's notes for this recipe:
This is a favorite salad recipe of my family - very simple sometimes I use navel oranges, ham strips of chicken and pecans or candied walnuts, sesame seeds, sunflower seeds or slivered almonds too!

Personalize This

Arrange greens, oranges and cheese in a salad bowl or place on individual plates.
Heat preserves in a small saucepan over medium heat until melted. Remove from heat.
When preserves have cooled a little, pour into a mason jar along with the oil, vinegar and onion, cover jar and shake well. Pour over salad and toss lightly. Very refreshing!
Keep any leftover dressing in refrigerator.

Pat this dressing sounds to die for. I am not into fruit with lettuce salad but I definately am trying this dressing. Thanks for posting.
